PERIYAR TOASTMASTERS club had a great vision when we started the club in May 2007 and chartered it on Nov 2007. Today, those noble visions had become a vibrant reality …the club had made history by achieving a perfect ten earning 'Presidents Distinguished Club' and had produced a speech champion (runner-up) at Divisional level, in the first year of its formation.

Each one of us is like an iceberg. This Dutch word means a mountain of ice. The strength of an iceberg is not what you can see but what is submerged under water. Historically, the tragic demise of the unsinkable Titanic was about not knowing the power and depth of an iceberg. Like an iceberg, 9/10 th of our potential are hidden below the surface. Our challenge will be to look below the surface at the base of the iceberg. There is much more below the surface that we may not even be aware of!

Each and every one of YOU are icebergs of talents. Talents of communication and leadership.

Toastmasters can fathom the hidden strength and PERIYAR can discover the potential. It will be our effort to create an atmosphere at the club to discover the hidden potential as much as we can. Let us explore our potential as individuals, as a group and as a club.
