Periyar Toastmasters

No man is an island. No one can stand alone in this vast world. The power of togetherness helps us face the challenges of everyday life. As in the saying, "United we stand, divided we fall"... Togetherness indeed triggers the power we need to achieve our goals.

"Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much." Said Helen Keller.

Keeping the camaraderie that we have in our club as the core value of Periyar Toastmasters Club, the theme for the year 2011~12 is "Together We Triumph".

Together, we can achieve more because , we share the same dream………………..…the dream of flying the Periyar flag high.

This year to reinforce the value of togetherness, five teams have been constituted to work towards the educational achievement of the individual members which in turn brings Triumph and laurels to the club.

The knowledge center concept is aimed at fueling the natural instinct among us to do better in a competitive atmosphere. It helps rekindle our passion towards Toastmastering. The freshness and the zest that this innovative idea has brought about in the club is quite evident from the member's participation.

This new concept of learning is purely based on "Share and Grow". This year we have given more importance to strengthening the bonds between the members through family outings, picnics and special meetings.

I consider myself lucky to be the part of such an incredibly talented team and an amazing organization that values togetherness. Together we will reach our goal, together we will Triumph.
